May 2012: Pawtucket officers Emmanuel Mejia and Jess Venturini fatally shoot Jamie Coyle, whose gun jammed as he tried to shoot them. A grand jury says the officers were justified.

November 2008: Cranston officer David Jubinville shoots and wounds Jose Rodriguez and a passenger in a vehicle that was driven into him. The shooting occurs as the officer clings to the hood. The attorney general s office clears the officer.

November 2006: Cranston officer Brian Gallagher shoots and wounds Joseph Erice, who robbed and stabbed a man. Gallagher is cleared by the attorney general s office.
